Concannon Petite Sirah – Livermore Valley, California (Glass $10, Bottle $35)
Flavors of well ripened blackberry, followed by a lingering taste of red fruits that slowly (and interestingly) transitioned into a subtle nutty flavor. Juicy mouthfeel and highly restrained tannins that settled gently all over the palate. Long finish that was well balanced between the flavors and the tannins.
