King Estates Pinot Gris – Willamette Valley, Oregon (Bottle $42)

Aromas of ripe pear, lime zest, peach, honeysuckle and lemon blossom. Ripe fruit flavors of Asian pear, key lime and nectarine accompanied by jasmine and damp slate. The entrance is followed by bright acidity with a fresh, balanced and lingering finish.

Aromas of blackberry, violet and creme brulee with hints of white pepper and olive. Medium-bodied, the wine has a lingering, round mid-palate with dark fruit flavors and a touch of chocolate truffle.

Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon – California

Planeta, La Segreta Rosso – Sicily, Italy (Glass $10, Bottle $35)

(Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc)
Aromas of red currant and mulberry with a slightly spicy and minty finish. In the mouth the wine demonstrates its fine personality with flavours of ripe wild fruits, balanced by a very pleasant full and herbal taste. The tannins are soft and smooth.

Straccali Chianti Classico – Chianti, Italy (Glass $10, Bottle $35)

From the prime Chianti Classico growing zone in Tuscany, this elegant red is intense and persistent. Aromas and flavors of ripe cherries mingle with violet notes in this well-structured wine. The finish is firm and polished.

Marques de Casa Conchas Carmenere – Santiago, Chile (Bottle $44)

Intense pure Carmenere, packed with blueberries and wild berries. Floral hints of violets and a pinch of roast red pepper. Balanced acidity, friendly tannins and creamy finish.

The nose is fruity with pronounced aromas of plums and blackberries. Fresh on the palate due to its natural acidity, the wine has a fruity finish and ripe round tannins.

Rich in fruit, reminiscent of black cherries, dark fruit and flowers. A rich composition of blackberries, plums, and violets. Balanced structure with soft tannins, ripe black fruit and a velvety smooth finish.

Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon.  The nose presents aromas of cloves, white pepper, and raspberry. The sleek chocolate and tobacco finish has a pleasant racy edge. On the palate, the tannins are velvety with a long-lasting finish and lingering acidity.

Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre. Aromas of fresh fruits with red berries and spices. A full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine. Long finish and finesse due to the well balanced tannins and fruit.

Charles & Charles Double Trouble Red Blend – Washington State (Glass $9, Bottle $32)

Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberry, white pepper, black licorice, cocoa with hints of smoked meat. Chewy, rich and dark-fruited profile. Long, energetic finish that builds with floral notes. Their approach to craft soulful and bold wines lead many to refer to them as Double Trouble!

Josh Cellars Legacy Red Blend – California (Glass $11, Bottle $38)

Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot. Aromas of blueberry and plum, backed by pepper and vanilla. On the palate the wine shows good body, with baked plums and dark cherries, with secondary notes of roasted almonds and hazelnuts, finishing long with fine, soft tannins.

Hess Select – California (Bottle $42)

Petite Sirah/Syrah/Zinfandel/Merlot/Malbec. The red fruits are ripe and bold. Tannins are purposefully softer and easy to drink.

This bold Cabernet opens with flavors of black cherries and blackberries with a touch of currants and vanilla, complemented by earth and mineral notes. Deep berry flavors lead to a soft tannin cocoa finish.

Aromas of lush black cherry, cassis and a hint of tobacco. Aged in American and French oak, its complex layers of spice are balanced by soft tannins.

Distinctive and exotic, this wine is concentrated while layering dark fruit, spice and earthen flavors with clove nuances on top a core of ripe blackberries. It is medium to full in body and moderately tannic. The flavors linger on the finish.

J. Lohr Tower Road Petite Sirah – Paso Robles, California ( Bottle $43)

Bright and energetic with aromas of cranberry and blackberry accented by subtle floral notes. Displays tart red and blue fruit on the palate, followed by exquisite length, rich tannins and complex spice on the long finish. Aged in French oak barrels.
