Falesco Vitiano Blanco
Umbria, Italy
Scented, aromas of white flowers, white peach, citrus and peppermint. Light bodied white still with tension and striking freshness given its high acidity. Flavors pushing towards a peach note.
Paired With: Zucchini & Chickpea Fritter With Vegetable Coulis, Goat Ricotta
Terras Gauda Albarino
Spain
Aromas of ripe pineapple and tropical fruit are accompanied by delicate hints of pear and golden apples. Balanced on the palate, well-integrated acidity and a soft creaminess provide by the sur lie aging. Tropical aromas are vibrant and culminate nicely in a long, lingering finish.
Paired With: Smoked Salmon Melted Leek Tart With Saffron Tomato Fondue
“La Jassine” Cotes Du Rhone
Cotes Du Rhone, France
60% Grenache, 40% Syrah
A beautiful nose with raspberry, blackcherry, garrigue (rosemary, thyme), chocolate and tobacco which builds and concentrates on the palate. The mouth feel is rich without being heavy and maintains freshness thanks to the hilltop fruit. Tannins are soft, round and inviting.
Paired With: Creamy Primavera Vegetables Over Tortellini With Roast Chicken
Shatter Grenache
Maury, France
Inky black in color, the wine has flavors and aromas dominated by black current, spice and cured meats with a touch of coffee from low toast barrels. There’s an underlying minerality throughout with the distinct iron quality that the black schist soil delivers. The palate is pure and powerful, but has structure and a cohesive backbone.
Paired With: Grilled Vegetable Paella With Grilled Flank Steak & Rouille
Iron & Sand Cabernet Sauvignon
Paso Robles, California
Aromas of dark red fruit, blueberry, black cherry, cassis and cola with a dusting of baking spice. Velvety and lush with flavors of black cherry and blackberry and undertones of coffee, mocha and a hint of vanilla. The flavors are complemented by lively acidity and fine tannins, with a long, supple and mouthwatering finish.
Paired With: Chocolate Brownie With Mixed Berry Compote
