Are you looking for ways to connect with your loved one with Alzheimer’s\, dementia\, or a cognitive disorder?  Are you interested in learning about the powerful therapeutic effects of music for all of us?  Then join us at The County Cork as Jeannie Finnegan discusses her new book and the miraculous qualities of music for comfort\, connection\, and healing.  She will also be performing a “mini concert” as you enjoy our delicious wines and our chef’s creations.  Please invite friends or family members that you know will benefit from this inspiring discussion\, and share on your facebook page!  This event starts at 6:00 PM on November 7th and ends at 8:00 PM.  See you at The Cork!  \n \nJeannie Finnegan is an author\, speaker\, and Certified Dementia Practitioner working as a consultant primarily in Howard and Carroll counties\, helping long-term care\, memory care\, and assisted living communities develop and implement personalized care for residents\, including the use of music as a powerful therapeutic tool.  She also teaches caregiving seminars and trains staff working in long-term care and memory care. Jeannie resides in Woodstock\, Maryland and is one of our weekend performers at The County Cork.
